I've been on the hcg injections for 38 days now. I've lost 27 pounds and over 10 inches. I don't have a lot of energy to do anything extra other then being a mom with my kids. That could be expected on a 500 calorie diet. However, I'm going to try to cycle again next week because I love to cycle, but I'm kind of nervous for lack of energy; I hate feeling completely exhausted.
I've learned that under normal protocol you should only do hcg for 28 days because of the low protein in your diet, not because of immunity to hcg. So, on our program we take protein supplements which are very low calorie. I can do that for 3 months and then should take a maintenance of 3 weeks. It's a very unforgiving program. If you cheat at all you could easily gain 3 pounds the next day which may take 5 to lose again (example, I ate 2 small brownies and that happened to me).
But I love the success I'm having. I'm a third of the way to where I want to be, but as I get closer to goal weight, I know it will be harder and slower to come off (watching Ed, that seems to be true, though, he has lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks, he only has 8 more that he wants to lose and it may be stubborn).
