update

So, I tried the 40 day bag purge.  The problem was I got distracted with life i.e. homeschooling, painting the girls' rooms and a basement still under construction, where much stuff is.  It is still my goal, I'm up to 15. Probably by the end of summer I'll exceed 40 bags.  Wish I could have made it by Easter. 

The other thing was the no sugar for 20 days.  Every day I had to start over.  I will now rescind that goal.  I must have sugar every day in some form.  Oh well. 

This week we are much more familiar with some area homeschoolers.  Today was a fun fun day.  We had someone over for everyone (except Bella, who slept through a lot of it).  Lots of play time.  So good for the kiddos.  Jon has a new friend and they are getting along fabulously so far.  I love that he isn't surrounded by girls all the time now.  He revels in masculinity right now.  He loves going to scouts because "Mom!  There are NO girls there, and NO moms!"  Yeah.  A guy's guy.  Doesn't help that Rebecca has often posted signs "No boys allowed."  sigh.
