Merry Christmas from the Hortons! God Bless us, every one

Season's Greetings to our family and friends!

This last week we had the opportunity to enjoy "A Christmas Carol" production at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO.  It was so well done; one of the best live Christmas productions we've seen.  The kids even enjoyed it.  Of course, Tiny Tim is always the one that warms your heart in his sincere wish "God Bless Us, Every One."

So it is, from the Hortons to our friends and family.  We wish you health, happiness and a surety knowing that you are a child of God and he is aware of you.  He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins so that we could return to live again with him.  We are grateful for this knowledge, for his sacrifice, for his love and peace.

We hope you feel his love this holiday season as we all remember the birth of our Savior.  We are grateful for the mother, pure and willing to accept the noble call and roll of motherhood to the Son of God, and for Joseph, who was her support and comfort.  For the prophets who foretold of his coming and for those who still testify of him.

He has blessed us abundantly this year in our many travels and home life.

We have had opportunities to visit many states: Ar, Ga, Sc, Fl, and Tx to name a few.  We continue to homeschool our children, enjoying the freedom it allows our family.  We have been on many field trips and participated in our homeschool co-op.  The children have excelled in their studies and made good friends along the way.

One of the highlights of our year was our vacation to Disneyworld! We ALL loved that so much, we've decided to go again in a couple of years.  We had a fabulous lake summer and we became a Tae Kwon Do family.

Individually he as blessed us:

Ed-- Serves in church by co-teaching a "Strengthening Marriage and Family Relations" class; called to the Elders' Quorum presidency, TKD, avid reader, works hard at the hospital, continued to explore his culinary side by purchasing a wheat grinder and learned how to make bread; continues to bless Jennifer's life.

Jennifer--Serves in church also Co-teacheing "Strengthening Marriage and Family Relations" class (hmmm), avid reader, works hard managing a household and school trying to be organized and keep up with the calendar of events, still has 5 quilts to finish that she purchased in Feb; continues to bless Ed's life.

Rebecca--loves American Girl, fashion, Girl Scouts, piano, friends, avid reader, big helper, babysitter, playmate, searches for ways to earn money, cheerful, super friendly; continues to bless our family with her talents.

Jonathan--Geo tracks, Thomas tracks, hot wheels, Cub Scouts, piano; loves math and learning new things; helps with Bella, good fisherman, very responsible, tries super hard to choose the right; continues to bless our family with the song in his heart and his love.

Savannah--DANCE, piano, baby dolls, ice skates, loves to write, creative, fun, funny; blesses us with her sense of humor.

Bella--Love, baby dolls, keeps up with the big kids, best friend is Sammy, likes to draw; cuddler; blesses us with her love.

We'd like to leave with you our testimonies that the Lord lives.  He is our Savior and Redeemer.  We celebrate this time because of him.  We give because of him.  We help others and have a heightened sense of love in our hearts as we remember him.

May his love, comfort and peace bless you and yours this holiday season!

Love,  Ed, Jennifer, Becca, Jon, Savannah, Bella

We love you guys! What a great Christmas letter. Your testimonies have touched me. And the kids are growing so fast! (of course, because I don't see them very often):( And sounds like the marriage class has some great teachers!

God bless you and send you many wonderful adventures this new year!
Love, Peggy, David and boys
