I found out about a cool online store called http://www.timberdoodle.com/ I'd heard they had some cool stuff for preschoolers, and others. I noticed they sell complete curriculum kits by grade, none of their own stuff, because they don't make any products, just bundles of what they think are good products.
I went through by grade, looking for my kids and saw that I actually had acquired on my own, throughout this last year, a lot of things they sell. Kinda funny to me. Pat on the back. I noticed that one of their products was a 600 piece geography puzzle of the world.
Rebecca and I started putting it together (since it's suggested for 5th grade). There were so many TINY pieces. Not your typical puzzle with all the weird shapes. But it took me, I mean US, an afternoon to get it all together. And in the process, of course, we lost ONE piece!
Anyway, here is the finished product. Yay Me! I mean, US. Ok, ok, she did do Africa, which was by no means a simple project ;)
