Organic
So Ed's been reading that book by Jillian Michaels called "Mastering Your Metabolism". He's really gung ho about this. Fabulous. There's a great health food store here. They have anything you could possibly need. Everything organic or natural. No hydrogenated oils or fake sugars in anything, or you get $50 if you find it in an ingredient. So he's wanting to go all organic, which is great, and we can do it, but it is sure expensive. I even bought chlorine free diapers! Forget that, though. Pampers have won my affection time and time again. Jillian says the most important foods to buy organic are meat and dairy. So here we go with organic chicken! Was pretty tasty, actually, and I started Bella on organic whole milk, paranoid now by the hormones making kids start puberty earlier. I think there may definitely be truth to this as I've watched my 8 year old daughter exhibit early teenage signs this last week, i.e., slamming her door, crying easily, being very particular about her stuff and her siblings touching her. So Bella is on organic, no hormones as she finishes off her last of formula this week. If we hadn't been ready for it we couldn't do it, but we have been in a process of changing and tweaking our diet for the last 2 years. We may now be ready! At least for a bit more in the process of eating healthy. Watch out you organic chickens!
