Of course, Halloween is THE October favorite pastime. This was at church where I, ME!, actually won the chili contest! I was sooo excited! I won an apron, a hat and a jar of candy! The funny part is my brother won at his church too! Completely different recipes. ;)

Some other favorite activities this month included a visit to Mizzou's agricultural farm where we went through a corn maze, a tractor ride and pumpkin patch. Here's Bec with a friend searching endlessly for the perfect pumpkin.
I started decorating for fall Oct. 1. That's going to be my new resolve as I will forever try to keep summer in my heart until at least then.
But I do enjoy the colors. And entirely appropriate for a month.
