We are scheduled.
This month we had fun at the St. Louis Magic House. I didn't have my camera...dang it! But we had so much fun. It was twice as big as it was a few years ago when we went, and since that was like 3 years ago, they'd pretty much forgotten everything that was there. We spent over 4 hours there.
We also went to our local airport. They learned all about wind patterns and different types of planes. Of course, it's just plain fun being on an air field. At the end they were given some toy airplanes and had airplane races, remembering to throw "into" the wind.
The girls pose with Lisa, a good friend of mine. My kids just love her.
Bella flying her plane.
We also went to Petco on a field trip. It was like going to a petting zoo...kinda. The snake and turtles were the highlights, especially when the turtle pooped on the floor. :)
We were amazingly blessed with a babysitter i.e. grandpa, so Ed and I could take Jon and Becca to see the 5 Browns in concert at the university. They loved it! So did we.
We rediscovered the conservation center and took the kids to their first Kids' club activity last night. They made 3 different bird feeders and were so excited to put them up and learn more about birds today. Of course, we had to put them up high because last time the neighbors' dogs came and ate them and took them back to their house.
We've also gone ice skating and on play dates, not to mention Girl/Cub scouts. Whew!
And we are only half way through the month. However, I'm seriously hoping it slows down a bit. But it probably won't ;)
