Today was a great school day.  In fact, a lot of days are productive school days, even if it does take awhile to get "everything" done.  I've learned that if I can get language and math done first, the rest is pretty easy.  I've even found time to school Savannah!  Which has been tricky because she is at a completely different level, but it's an easy level, thank goodness.

I've been trying really hard to not stress about things (school) too much or take things (school) too extremely serious.  I've been focusing on Rebecca as she has hit a love of learning age and is interested in so much.  Jonathan is faithful getting up and on his own getting his stuff done.

School occupies my thoughts...a lot.  But I love it!  At least it gives me something productive to think about.  I find myself not thinking about myself as much, but my kids an awful lot.

One thing I do think about is a bigger home.  When we bought this I was a "never ever going to homeschool" person.  Things have changed and I wish we had a little bit more space.  I read an article this week though, about being content.  So, I'm seeing how that fits me.  We will see.

Another thing I think about is friendships.  I actually think about this a LOT.  One of my best friends moved away and I realize that excellent friendships take time and trust to develop.  The older I get, the harder it is.  But I have gotten to know some wonderful women and hope to have some great friendships in the future.

Savannah just asked me to come hold her while we watch "Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel".  I can't say no, so off I go...
