Ed was off today, so Grandpa came down to fish with us. Jon and Ed fish a lot. The goal is to get fish in the freezer before winter. This time I wanted to go. We had a fun time. It was nice because the little girls were contained with a movie in the car, and the rest of us could enjoy our fishing...sorta. Ed got frustrated with Jon, because Jon wanted to catch a big fish like Rebecca. Today, Rebecca caught a 4.5 lb bass, but she refused to touch it. Jon loves to touch fish, though, so here he is holding her fish for her.

Then, to be funny, Jon put a small fish in the big fish's mouth
But the really funny part was when we realized the fish was actually eating the smaller fish.
Of course, Jon had a REALLY HARD time leaving that poor fish alone. I guess it's the boy in him that likes to touch slimy, stinky things.
Finally Ed said with a laugh, just let that poor fish enjoy his last meal in peace.
The fish is now in our freezer ready to be one of our meals. Thank you fish!
