What has February left and March ushered in?

We had crazy weather, basking in the sun to back to winter coats, to jackets. This week it's supposed to be in the 70s. Yay!

But many we know are sick with a horrible flu that lasts for days and has high temps of 103, and throw up is involved. For the first time, we didn't go to church today because we didn't want to get sick! Not because we were sick. Sigh. We found out it was a good choice, as people we knew were sick were at church. Why, people? Why can you just not stay home and get better? Sigh.

Some highlights of this week were:

Jon and Rebecca are taking a coop class called "What career is it anyway?" This week a firefighter came in and talked to them. Rebecca is wearing reflective gear, Jon in regular gear.

Savannah at a homeschool library program called "Spy School". All kids had fun cracking codes and learning about spies. We also went to a Dr. Seuss day at the library, where kids wore Cat in the Hat hats.

Other things in the news:

Becca started volleyball practices.

Ed and I got to go on a date!
