I wanted to start my blog again, but realized what was keeping me back was the privacy settings, so now that it's private, I feel like I have more liberty to post things.
This weekend I completed my first yearbook for Freedom Clubs. So. Many. Pictures. But it was fun. I also made a book from my blog for Freedom Clubs, so I'm excited to see the results. I'm a hands on learner, and this was a fun experiment for me.
Ed had a cysto surgery to remove a kidney stone a couple weeks ago, after a month of pain. He woke up feelin' real good...but he doesn't remember that.
Rebecca had Montana and Brianna Arrington (Vanzetti) over last night. She is changing so quickly now. Growing up fast. I'm grateful that she has her head on straight and excellent critical thinking skills at this time in her life. I'm constantly thinking about her education and how to direct/guide her. But she's really good at that herself too. We are going to a homeschool convention in a few weeks. I'm excited.
Jonathan is always so happy. He constantly has a smile. Many people just love being around him because he is a joy. A bit obnoxious sometimes, but always trying to make people happy.
Savannah. Well, I'm her primary teacher. It's a huge class. Ten kids, 6 boys, 4 girls. I love their energy, most of the time, but I bring Ed with me to class to help keep them under control. I'm also an activity day leader, so I'm enjoying this time with Savannah.
Bella is spunky, and funny. She is also demanding and sometimes rude. But she is so darned cute to me, even so. Probably because she's my baby. But she does say funny things, that I will try to start writing down, which is one of the reasons why I'm wanting to pick up this blog again.
Plus I got a new camera, and want to add my pics. I'm not super great yet, but the camera is good.
On a sad note, Linda is divorcing Rick since the end of Oct. It's horrible, really. All her false claims. She's destroyed our family on several different levels. We know she has mental illness, though, at least PTSD. She is the "evil queen" from the TV show "Once Upon a Time." Her manipulation and webs are unheard of. She is a master of deceit and cunning for her own purposes, and yet she believes her accusations to be true. A fine mess. Our family is divided by her. I can't wait until the divorce is final. I'm with Rick and Heather, mom and dad. That's about it. Robert and Mike are removed from the situation, living out west, Dan is just upset because he thinks we are all against his getting together with Rachel, who had Christmas with our family. I'm grateful for Heather's opportunity to be an amazing "go to" for our long, lost niece. And Rick is really, really happy now. He hasn't been this happy since his college days. He has friends who are fulfilling his emotional needs in ways that haven't been met in years. That makes me happy.
Here are some pics for Feb. Jon and Becca learning....
