This summer I've gotten so tired of our tae kwon do commitment, ready to just quit, tired, money, etc. But then we go and do a tournament, and it's so fun, and I'm so proud of my kids. I'm proud of Savannah and Bella just competing because it's a little intimidating in front of everyone. I'm grateful they get compensated every time with an award ;)
And even though they should have practiced a little more, Jon slid through earning a 2nd in form and 3rd in sparring, grabbing 2 medals! And surprising us all, Rebecca took first in sparring!
So glad it was a local tournament, though, and that we didn't have to travel to some far away land.
